A Message from Warren

Dear Friends,

Texas has troves of natural gas and energy, and, as Texas Railroad Commissioner, my job will be to manage these vast resources. Proper management requires innovation to efficiently utilize the energy and understanding to consider the complexities of oil and gas.

I am the only candidate for Texas Railroad Commission who’s met a payroll and risked his own money producing energy. I hold the experiences needed to spur the industry forward in a way that supports free market principles. The quickest way towards cleaner energy does not entail saddling companies with more rules.

As you may know, I was born and raised in the heart of Texas oil country—the Texas Panhandle. I’ve personally worked in the oilfields, managed an energy company and sat on committees that lead oil and gas reform.

I have seen all the elements of the oil industry from my personal experience as an oil worker to my position on committees overseeing our state’s natural resources. And in this field I hold dear to my heart, I want to see fairness at every step—fairness for the oilmen, fairness for the consumers, fairness for all involved.
